Bonita Davis Paige: A Legacy of Leadership and Community Impact
Bonita Davis Paige has dedicated her career to fostering diversity and supporting minority and women-owned businesses. In 2003, she was appointed by former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and the Honorable Simone Marstiller to enhance minority and women spending as the Diversity Coordinator for the Department of Management Services. Under her leadership, the Department's minority spending increased from $10 million to $35 million.
Respected by her peers, Bonita has built a reputation for delivering progressive results. Her tenure with the Broward County School Board, the sixth largest accredited school district in the U.S., saw her excel in roles such as Minority/Women Business Specialist, Contract Compliance Administrator, and diversity representative. She holds a Master Compliance Administrator Certification from the American Contract Compliance Association through Morgan State University-Professional Studies. In addition, she is certified in Business Administration.
Bonita's commitment extends beyond her professional life. She has mentored students at Dillard High School, Nims Middle School, Killearn Lakes Elementary and Pineview Elementary, earning the Mentor of the Year Award in 2003. As a Girl Scouts Troop Leader and through her business consulting firm, WP and Associates, she has empowered small, minority, and women-owned businesses. Her accolades include the Minority Enterprise Development Chairperson’s Award in 2008.
In 2016, Bonita launched Decor and More Imagining Concept LLC, where she serves as Chief Image Creator. Her business specializes in organization, interior design, style image and team building for small minority businesses.
Bonita's greatest joy comes from her family, including her late husband Windell, their daughters Porsche and Samantha, and grandsons Cameron and Bryson.
