Hailing from Newton, Texas, Krishon Seastrunk is a driven individual who has achieved remarkable success in both his academic and professional endeavors. He earned a full football scholarship to McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where he obtained dual Bachelor's degrees in Accounting and General Business Administration, alongside a Minor in Entrepreneurship and certification in Human Studies. Furthering his education, he also completed a Master's degree in Accounting with a CPA emphasis from Walden University. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Business Administration, with a specialization in Accounting, from South College.
Currently, Krishon serves as a Senior Budget Analyst in the Office of Management and Budget for the City of Savannah, overseeing the operating budget of approximately 37 business units, which totals around $140 million. His responsibilities include monitoring expenditures, preparing status reports, and ensuring budget compliance. Additionally, he plays a vital role as the City of Savannah’s Cost Unit Leader in the Resource Support Section of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC). He is also a graduate of the City Manager’s Emerging Leaders Academy Cohort III.
Beyond his professional commitments, Krishon is actively involved in various organizations. He holds leadership positions in the Savannah Metropolitan Chapter of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators and participates in national committees focused on public administration and leadership.
Krishon is also affiliated with several prestigious organizations such as the Government Finance Officer Association, Delta Sigma Pi, Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society, and the National Society of Leadership and Success, among others. In addition, he is the Founder and CEO of Seastrunk Enterprises and Wheels Legacy Travel, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit.
In addition to his professional and entrepreneurial endeavors, Krishon Seastrunk is deeply involved in community service and outreach. He volunteers with local organizations, where he mentors and supports youth in the community. He is also a regular speaker at churches and community events, sharing his message of faith, hope, and service.
Despite his numerous accomplishments, Krishon remains deeply rooted in his faith and commitment to serving others. His ultimate goal is to spread the message of Jesus Christ and make a positive impact on the world, one person at a time.
