Bio

A respected public- and private-sector finance, operations, and benefits strategy executive with more than 25 years of experience leading large, complex, and highly regulated organizations. Her career reflects deep expertise in fiscal governance, workforce sustainability, healthcare benefits redesign, and enterprise-scale operations, particularly within public education and government-adjacent systems.

As a former School Business Administrator and Chief Financial Officer for major urban school districts in New Jersey, Ms. Robinson oversaw operating and capital portfolios exceeding $1.1 billion and led cross-functional divisions spanning finance, human resources, employee benefits, facilities, transportation, food services, procurement, and enterprise risk management. She served as a trusted cabinet-level advisor to Superintendents and Boards of Education and played a central leadership role in the successful restoration of local control following more than 30 years of state oversight. Her work stabilized multi-year fiscal challenges, preserved workforce continuity, and strengthened institutional credibility under sustained public scrutiny.

A defining element of Ms. Robinson’s leadership has been her work in healthcare benefits reform at scale. During a period of statewide instability in New Jersey’s public employee health systems, she helped lead the design and implementation of a fully self-funded healthcare and enhanced prescription program covering approximately 14,000 lives. This initiative protected employees from steep premium increases, delivered multi-million-dollar savings, and became a widely cited example of proactive benefits modernization during fiscal distress. Her approach consistently balanced fiduciary responsibility, regulatory compliance, employee well-being, and long-term cost sustainability.

Building on this foundation, Ms. Robinson currently serves as Vice President of Public Sector Benefits & Insurance and a Licensed Producer with CannaCoverage, where she provides strategic leadership to municipalities, school districts, unions, and other public employers seeking innovative and compliant healthcare solutions. In this role, she advises clients on the responsible integration of alternative therapeutic benefits—including medical cannabis, ketamine-assisted therapy, and emerging behavioral health and chronic-condition interventions—into modernized benefit designs.

Her work at CannaCoverage is grounded in practical implementation and measurable outcomes. Drawing on her experience managing self-insured health plans and large unionized workforces, Ms. Robinson helps employers address rising prescription dependency, opioid exposure, treatment-resistant mental health conditions, and escalating claims costs. She collaborates with brokers, TPAs, clinical partners, and governing bodies to design benefit models that reduce total cost of care, improve workforce productivity and retention, and expand access to evidence-based therapies while maintaining strict regulatory and fiduciary standards.

Ms. Robinson is widely recognized for her integrity, steady leadership under pressure, and ability to translate complex financial and healthcare systems into actionable strategies for boards and executive teams. Her leadership philosophy emphasizes transparency, accountability, equity, and service-driven outcomes.

She holds multiple state certifications, including the ASBO Int’l School Finance and Operations (SFO), QPA. She holds a M.S. in Accounting and Management and M.Ed. in Educational Leadership—and is currently completing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Organizational Leadership.

A committed advocate for women’s health equity, Ms. Robinson serves on the Board of Directors of The Chrysalis Initiative, "erasing the line" and supporting initiatives focused on breast cancer awareness, access, and early intervention.
