    Now is your opportunity to honor your friends and colleagues for their exceptional work!  NFBPA’s Call for Award Nominations is open now through Monday, February 3, 2025. At FORUM 2025, occurring April 9-13, 2025, NFBPA will present its annual slate of awards to those exceptional individuals who have demonstrated excellence and dedication throughout their careers.

    See below for the Call for Award packet, eligibility and nomination details for NFBPA’s Awards. If you know of an individual who deserves to be honored, we ask that you submit a nomination packet and return it to as a PDF attachment via email to: Adminservices@nfbpa.org.

    Please indicate the nomination in the subject line of the email, i.e. "Attn: Marks of Excellence, Hall of Fame, Steven D. Ford Memorial, Educator of the Year, or Jacqueline L. Whitman Distinguished Service Award."

    This is a friendly reminder for the first-ever virtual NACA Idea Exchange on December 4, 2024, from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.
    The NACA Programming Committee is thrilled for you to attend this unique event where we will delve into the topic of "Elections and Transitions in County Government." With the 2024 elections behind us, county governments across the nation are navigating transitions for their elected officials and staff. This session is a fantastic opportunity to learn how other counties manage onboarding, staffing, and other related challenges. It's also a platform for you to share your best practices and experiences!
    NACA's virtual Idea Exchanges are designed to foster learning through interactive breakout rooms and facilitated discussions. This is your chance to connect and engage with your county peers from all over the country.
    Please note that this event is exclusively for NACA members who are current practitioners in county government and these are not recorded sessions so as to create a safe space for members to participate.

    We’re raising $5,000 to support GLIDE, providing 1,250 holiday meals to those in need. GLIDE, a nationally recognized center for social justice in San Francisco, is dedicated to fighting systemic injustices, creating pathways out of poverty, and transforming lives.
     
    During FORUM 2025 (April 9–13), we’ll come together to pack meals as part of our commitment to community impact. Watch the video to learn more about GLIDE and their inspiring mission. Join us in spreading warmth and joy this holiday season and beyond—together, we can make a difference!

    As a reminder, those who donate $50 or more will be entered into a raffle for free round-trip coach airfare within the continental United States to NFBPA’s conference (FORUM).
