Join us for a powerful Women’s History Month conversation focused on empowering Black women in Massachusetts to pursue and win public leadership roles. This virtual event brings together Emerge Massachusetts, the National Council of Negro Women – Greater Boston Section, and the National Forum of Black Public Administrators (NFBPA) Boston Chapter to spotlight opportunities, challenges, and pathways for Black women interested in local and state politics. Featured Speaker: Ayesha M. Wilson (Emerge Massachusetts) Ayesha will share insights on local politics, discuss common barriers Black women face when running for office, and reflect on her own experiences navigating the political landscape. The conversation will highlight how training, mentorship, and community support can turn interest into action — and candidacies into victories. This session is designed for Black women who are curious about public leadership, considering a future run for office, or interested in supporting candidates and campaigns.
